It showed that, even though Jasmine did not like Matt at the beginning of the story, she got to know him and felt he was worthy of dedicating an entire book to. I didn’t really like any of the main characters and it’s really hard for me to get into a book when I don’t like, or care, about the characters. He is child-like, but not childish. The concept of the novel was so beautiful and innocent.
